Hajime:

Eheheh, what a wonderful smell! Mmhm, the tea I brewed today is going to be delicious!

Subaru:

Whoa, Shinonon! Whaddya so happy about? Did something nice happen? Well, if you’re happy, I’m happy, Shinonon!

Hajime:

Eek! ... Ah, you gave me a bit of a fright. Hello there, Akehoshi-senpai. It’s a nice surprise seeing you here.

Subaru:

Yeah, me too, me too! Hm? Something smells super sweet! Shinonon, were you baking?

Hajime:

Heheh, I don’t think that’s it! Actually, I think that sweet smell might be coming from this teapot here, Akehoshi-senpai.

Subaru:

Yeah, that’s the stuff! Oh right, you’re part of the tea club, huh, Shinonon. So that’s why you’re making tea! Mystery solved!

Hajime:

Ahaha... Um, Akehoshi-senpai, if you have some time, why don’t you have some tea?

I baked some sweet treats to accompany today’s tea. Since the tea’s on the sweeter side, I prepared some chiffon cake to go with it.

Subaru:

For sure, pour me a cup! ...

Mmm, this is so good! Tastes just like you, Shinonon!

Hajime:

Huh, it tastes like me? ... Well, I’m just glad that you’re happy, Akehoshi-senpai. There’s plenty more, so feel free to help yourself to seconds!

Today’s tea turned out delicious, and I even got to share it with you, Akehoshi-senpai... I’m just so happy!

Nazuna:

Huh, Hajime-chin? Small world, running into you here! I see you’ve got a textbook openyou studying?

Hajime:

Oh, Nii-chan! Eheheh, I’m just revising over this chapter.

Nazuna:

Whoa, you’re amazing. Can’t say I do that as much as I should, so I’m impressed!

Hajime:

Oh no, there’s nothing amazing about it at all!

... Oh dear, I spoke so loudly that everyone’s staring at me!

This is the library, so I need to keep it down unless I want to be told off.

Nazuna:

I get you. Hajime-chin, mind if I join you? I suppose I might as well get some revision in every now and then.

Hajime:

Be my guest! I’d love to study together with you, Nii-chan!

… Wow, math sure gets a whole lot tougher once you’re a third year. I can still only solve these sorts of equations.

Nazuna:

Don’t worry about it; that’s all you need to be able to solve for now! You’re plenty smart, Hajime-chin.

Hajime:

Mmm... I do like studying, but I tend to get carried away and study things in advance that we don’t even need to cover for class.

Since you're joining me for today, I feel like I’m gonna be extra productive, Nii-chan.

EichiJime

Hajime:

President, I’ve finished preparing the sweets!

Eichi:

Fufu, I’m looking forward to trying them... Oh? Did you bake these cookies in the shape of cats and rabbits? How adorable.

Hajime:

Um, are you sure my homemade goods are alright?

There are plenty of Ritsu-senpai's sweets that we usually have, so maybe those would be better...

Eichi:

There’s no need. They are quite the delicacy, but their appearance is simply grotesque, so I can’t say they tickle my fancy.

Although it does feel like your cookies look almost too good to eat, Hajime-kun. Tell me, do you often bake at home?

Hajime:

Oh, I do! It’s cheaper than buying, and my little brother and sister love when I bake... These animal-shaped cookies are always a big hit!

But I guess they might be a little too cutesy for the Tea Club. Oh no... I’ll make a new batch!

Eichi:

Ah, there’s really no need to worry. I don’t often get the chance to try this sort of thing, so I’m rather excited myself.

Of course it'll be a rabbit for you then, Hajime-kun? And a cat for Ritsu-kun. There we go.

Hajime:

Heheh. And the lion for you, President? They're strong and cool, so it's a perfect choice. ♪

Eichi:

Thank you... Goodness, we're quite behind schedule even when Ritsu-kun has arrived already. Very well then, let's start today's tea party. ♪

TetoraJime

Hajime:

...

Tetora:

Whoa, Hajime-kun? Ya must be in a good mood, hummin’ away to yourself like that!

Hajime:

Oh, Tetora-kun! Um, I’ve been reading a manga Tomoya-kun lent me. This one here - have you read it before?

Tetora:

Yeah. The other day I borrowed that same book, as well as some shojo manga about a sports club. So he recommended it to you too, huh.

Hajime:

Eheheh. The art is really pretty! The story’s really interesting too, so I’ve been completely absorbed in it.

Tetora:

Whoa. Looks like you get what's so great about the romantic type of shojo manga, Hajime-kun!

I don’t really know all that much about love or romance yet, so I just read the manga about the sports club!

Hajime:

Oh, yes. My little sister often borrows shojo manga from her friends.

Then she tells me: “Onii-chan, you’ve gotta read this too!” and at this point I’ve read so many that I’ve fallen in love with the genre.

Tetora:

Whoa. Now that you mention it, Tomoya-kun said his sister was the one to recommend that book to him too.

You guys are lucky! I’m an only child, so...

Hajime:

Heheh. I don’t have any older brothers or sisters, so I’ve always dreamed about having one. Do you think that’s the same sort of thing, Tetora-kun?

Tetora:

We all want what we don’t have, huh. That aside, think ya could tell me what’s so great about that manga?

If I get the appeal of the story, I'll be able to enjoy it more the next time I borrow it!

Hajime:

Of course. Eheheh, talking about manga with a friend really makes me feel like a highschool student…
