Tomoya:

Hajime, I’ve never seen anyone scrub laundry that hard while humming so happily to themselves before... If the stains on those shorts are that stubborn, wouldn't it be better if you tossed them into the washing machine?

Hajime:
There we go... I actually feel like hand washing laundry helps me get stains out much better than the washing machine. Look—now these shorts are spotless! ♪

Tomoya:
Whoa, you’re right... Wait, why are you washing that track team uniform anyway?

The campus jobs we took on may include washing costumes for other units, but it shouldn’t include uniforms from extracurricular activities.

Hajime:
Apparently Mitsuru-kun got his uniform dirty during practice... It’s really no trouble, so I decided to wash it together with the rest of the load.

Tomoya:
Wow... Then where is Mitsuru? He’s the one who got it dirty, so he should be the one cleaning it.

Hajime:

Oh, Mitsuru-kun’s helping me dry off the laundry. Besides, if you’re too rough when scrubbing, you’ll end up damaging the material.

I’m used to tackling stubborn stains from all the campus jobs I do. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. ♪

Tomoya:
Mmm. I know laundry’s your thing, Hajime, but is it really okay to leave the drying to that guy?

Hajime:
Mitsuru-kun can jump really high, so he’s able to reach the top of the washing line even if it’s much higher than normal.

After he saw me troubled and agonizing to reach the washing line with all my might, he volunteered to take care of it. He really helped me out! ♪

Tomoya:

Huh? Is the washing line really that high? If I remember it right, wasn't it a bit shorter than us when I last helped you with laundry?

Hajime:
It’s possible to adjust the height, so it could be that someone a lot taller came along and left it that way.

Mitsuru:

Dash, dash, dash! ☆

Hajime-chan! Mission complete!

Tomoya:
Mitsuru, don’t jump on him out of nowhere like that! And watch that bucket of water over there; if you knock it over, we’ll have to start all over again!

Mitsuru:
I’ll watch my step, so it's a-ok!! Anyway, what should I do next, Hajime-chan? What to do, what to do?

Hajime:
Could you go hang this up to dry next?

Mitsuru:

Huh? Whoa, is that my uniform? It was all dirty before, but now it looks spotless! That’s incredible! Hajime-chan, what kinda spell did you cast?

Hajime:
I didn’t cast any spells. I just used my special homemade cleaning agent and now it’s good as new!

All of the stains were pretty stubborn and I had my work cut out for me trying to get them out, but now it looks as good as new! ♪

Mitsuru:
Yeah, my Mom was just about to throw in the trowel, and I was ready to call it a lost cause too!

Tomoya:
Trowel? Ah, you mean throw in the towel.

Mitsuru:
Huh? Yeah, maybe! Hajime-chan, thank you so much! Now I’m all hyped to wear this again and dash, dash, dash! ☆

Tomoya:
Don’t you get tired of dashing around all the time? Well, whatever—Mitsuru’s already gone running off to hang his uniform up to dry, so the two of us can take care of the rest of the load.

Hajime:
Oh, that was actually the last of it! When the three of us work together, we get the job done in no time! ♪

Tomoya:
Oh wow, looks like we’ve got plenty of time to spare. What should we do? You want to just head on home?

Hajime:
Mmm... If it’s alright with you, Tomoya-kun, do you think we could apply for another campus job?

They’re always looking for people to help out with cleaning or washing dishes, so it shouldn’t matter if we sign up at the last minute.

Tomoya:
Sure, as long as I’m with you, Hajime, even washing dishes sounds like fun.

Hajime:
Really? Eheheh, I feel the same! As long as you’re by my side, that’s enough to put a smile on my face. ♪

Tomoya:
Is that so? Alright then, if Mitsuru's okay with it, we should invite him too...

—Wait, hold on!

Hajime:
Oh? Tomoya-kun, is something wrong?

Tomoya:
Hajime, we’re idols, right?

Hajime:
...? Yes, we are. We’re members of Ra*bits, an idol group as cute as a bunch of bunnies, doing our best to break into the business! ♪

Tomoya:
Yeah. But lately it feels like all we do is take on a bunch of campus jobs in order to save up finances for the unit.

Without funding, we can’t rent practice rooms or participate in live shows, so it’s not like we have a choice.

But at this rate, it feels like we’re on the road to becoming professional dishwashers rather than idols! I really feel like we’re getting our priorities backwards...

Hajime:
Mmm... I thought that was just how we split up our duties? Nii-chan’s the one who looks out for idol-related job offers for us, and in the meantime the three of us sign up for campus jobs to earn funds for our activities.

Tomoya:

Yeah, I guess... Maybe I’m just panicking a bit.

I should just have patience and put my faith in Nii-chan... But I can’t help feeling a little jealous when I see everyone else putting their all into their onstage performances.

Hajime:
Thanks to making it into the Best 4 at DDD, we’re getting more job offers than we used to, but nothing is big enough for us to give up our campus jobs.

There's always the school's online bulletin board where they post job offers for idols all the time, but we Ra*bits are still small fries compared to the other groups who apply.

There’s been so many times where we can’t even apply because we don’t meet the application requirements...

Mitsuru:

Then we should just go search for our own work!

Tomoya:
Whoa, you came out of nowhere, Mitsuru! When did you sneak up on us like that?

Well, whatever. That’s easier said than done. If Nii-chan’s struggling with finding work for us, then what makes you think we can?

Mitsuru:
We won’t know until we try! Nii-chan’s just one person, but there’s three of us! Y’know what they say; one head is better than three!

Tomoya:

One head is better than... You’ve got that backwards. If you’re not gonna think about what you’re saying, then just keep it to yourself. You’re going to end up sounding like an idiot...

Mitsuru:
Boo, Tomo-chan, you’re so mean! Well, I’m gonna go search for work for us!

I feel the same, Tomo-chan, Hajime-chan! I wanna go onstage! A huge, massive stage—and sing and dance in front of everyone! ☆

So I’ll run as far as it takes to chase after some idol work for us! ☆
